What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager of Adapted Sports position at Achievement Centers for Children?
Athletes young and old take part in our six sports leagues including Adapted Soccer, Junior Cavs Basketball, Adapted Baseball, Adapted Golf, Adapted Tennis and Cleveland Browns Adapted Football. We provide the equipment, coaches, 1:1 support, and professional management and our athletes provide the enthusiasm and thrills of live action. From skills clinics to the games themselves, this program offers everything an athlete needs to succeed on the field or court. The right candidate for this position will be just as special as the program itself, bringing knowledge of sports management, experience working with people with disabilities, and innate leadership skills to the job along with their huge heart and passion.
The Manager of Adapted Sports will have the opportunity to:
- Take the lead in building and growing relationships with local professional sports teams including the Guardians, the Browns, the Cavaliers, and more! Our affiliations with professional team partners make the league experiences we offer to our teams unique.
- Manage a vast network of professional support and volunteers including local community partners that provide us space to learn and play as well as a platform from which to increase awareness of our mission.

- Grow the program according to your passions and time the sky is the limit! This position includes a unique opportunity to identify new areas of growth including expanding into new regions, offering new sports, etc.
- Enjoy agency-wide collaboration including offering small-group instruction in our Autism School and recreation opportunities for our many summer camps.
