Achievement House is a local nonprofit that has served the Central Coast for almost 70 years. Our mission at AHI is dedicated to providing services that encourage and support individuals with disabilities, so that they may successfully achieve their personal and professional goals.
As a Roving Job Coach, you will be providing support and training to the individuals served in various program and work settings. This is a full-time position with days and hours varying from Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM (must be flexible.) This position can be asked to cover anywhere from Solvang to Santa Maria and is great to learn about the many work sites and programs that we offer and become acquainted with a variety of the individuals we work with.

Typical day-to-day activities include:
Provide individuals with continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives that guarantee and correspond with abilities and development.
Execute and monitor contract requirements to ensure quality of workmanship and customer expectations are being satisfied.
Adhere to internal operating procedures that include, preparing documents of daily cash records, inventory records and daily deposit of cash receipts.
Responsible for learning the operations of multiple locations.
Will work with a variety of Individuals’ served, and be able to adjust to the group’s needs.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license as driving is a requirement for this position
- Must be able to successfully pass a LiveScan background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be patient, compassionate, and able to be a role model for adults with disabilities
- Need to be flexible with work schedules and work according to the need.
- Must be able to work indipendently
- Ability to work outdoors
- Comfortable walking and standing for long periods of time
- Basic computer/technology skills and knowledge
This is a full-time position. Anticipated hiring range is $20.00 per hour plus benefits and perks.
