We are searching for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our growing team!
The BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. A BCBA will also oversee programming of registered behavior analysts and provide ongoing support and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
- Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction
- Knowledge of DTT programming and implementation
- Knowledge of computer systems, G-Suite and AAC devices
- Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Must have open availability between 7:00am-7:00pm Monday through Friday (only 40 hours will be scheduled)
- Must be willing to work in a various settings, including the client's home, school classroom and a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic where the client may also receive occupationa, speech and physical therapy services.
- Current on all required trainings/certifications
- Driver’s insurance on file
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis and patient assessment
- Experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with autism
- Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies training related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with client
