Location: Monroeville and Irwin, PA.
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly position
Schedule: Hours of operation are Monroeville: Monday-Saturday 11am-8pm, Sunday 12p-6p. Irwin: M-F 8a-630pm, Saturday 11a-5p, Closed on Sunday. Candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Schedules might vary based on business needs and staff availability.

Position Overview: This role involves supporting individuals in developing job skills and achieving career goals within our confectionery operations. The Job Coach will work closely with employees to enhance their strengths, provide guidance, and foster a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in making handcrafted candy and other sweet confections.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service and manage daily sales transactions.
- Support neurodiverse individuals in developing job skills.
- Serve as a mentor and positive role model in a work-based setting.
- Help create an inclusive, encouraging, and fun environment for all staff.
- Develop and implement individualized job coaching and employment plans.
- Communicate with employees to understand their goals and aspirations.
- Assist employees in overcoming personal barriers and setting achievable objectives.
- Assess individual strengths and teach effective utilization in the workplace.
- Guide employees in learning and completing job tasks efficiently.
- Provide coaching in job search techniques and career development.
- Support individuals with developing social and life skills.
- Advise on workplace accommodations to promote inclusivity.
- Collaborate with marketing team to support social media efforts and community relations.
- Attend external events to promote products and/or the workplace training program.
- Monitor and evaluate employee progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Other job duties as assigned by other Achievers and/or supervisor
Who We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in social studies or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Job Coach or in a similar role is a plus.
- Prior experience in candy making, baking, or food production.
- Exceptional customer service or sales/retail experience.
- Experience supporting or working with neurodiverse individuals.
- Patience, creativity, and a team-first mindset.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to rapid changes in the daily work environment and be resourceful in solving problems.
- Must be able to handle cash and credit card transactions; ensures accuracy in POS entries and change provided.
- to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
- Impectible hygiene skills.
- Ability to work in small, shared spaces in a production environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to demonstrate alignment with and actively embody mission, vision, values, and beliefs in actions, decisions, and communications at all times.
