Position Title: National Business Development Manager
Department: Electronic and Semiconductor Solutions Group (ESS)

Position Overview:
The National Business Development Manager will lead the strategic growth and development of Achilles Electronics and Semiconductor Solutions group (ESS) in North America. This role is responsible for identifying and fostering new business relationships, managing key client accounts, expanding market share, and driving new product development in close collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development & Strategy:
- Research, identify, and manage target markets for both existing and new products to ensure measurable, profitable business outcomes.
- Work with engineering and production teams in Japan to facilitate the development of new products.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to increase sales volume and business loyalty.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the efficient handling of customer orders and manage inventories at client locations and in-house.
- Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with up-to-date warranty policies and industry standards.
- Develop and manage annual dealer programs to drive business growth and enhance dealer engagement.
3. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare and present annual, semi-annual, and quarterly sales forecasts and budgets.
- Generate regular sales performance reports, highlighting key opportunities and results.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record of success in business development, market expansion, and key account management.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on effective client interaction.
- Leadership experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and adaptive approach in a dynamic environment.
- Japanese language proficiency is preferred but not required.
Travel & Working Conditions:
- Extensive travel required for business development, client relationship management, and training purposes.
- Occasional participation in after-hours conferences with the parent company in Japan, and travel to other regions including Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Europe.
