The primary purpose of the project coordinator role is to plan, direct and coordinate the completion of projects for ACI. The project coordinator will participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, implementation so that a project can be completed on time and within budget. Other duties include and not limited to : Evaluating and measuring sites, and maintaining the project database. Project Managers will team with sales and communicate with company management to supervise projects and maintain the integrity of the projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to assist in preparing time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for all project phases.
- Coordinate project objectives, timelines, budgets, and financials, ensuring a quality control plan is in place for all jobs, and plan work accordingly.
- Evaluate and manage the risks of proposed and ongoing work, including arranging utility locates.
- Proactively communicate with Sales, Scheduling, management, crews, subcontractors, and customers per company expectations; provide onsite direction as needed and respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.
- Identify, manage, and control changes on assigned jobs, including developing change orders.
- Maintain and enforce a safe work environment by adhering to procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Acquire the required permits to complete the job.
- Paint the operational work area.
- Manage traffic control in coordination with the Scheduling team.
- Secure change orders in collaboration with the Sales team.
- Utilize Pro Cru to create OPS packets and mark the job as "Sold" to forward it to Scheduling.
- Coordinate subcontractors specific to the job.
- Assist Sales with project scoping before the season starts. Once the season begins, discontinue assisting with project scoping, except when time permits.
