Production Worker
As a Production Worker you will be responsible for keeping the shop clean and organized. You will be the go-to person for any assistance that our welders and other trades workers need, whether it is clean-up, delivering materials or assisting with moving tools and machinery. You are comfortable with performing manual labor tasks and are eager to assist and grow.
JOB TASKS
- Clean and maintain worksite
- Assist welders, carpenters, painters or other tradespeople
- Handle and transport materials
- Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure accurate work tasks and end product
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Follow company safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor and in support of the company
Qualifications
- Experience in using basic hand and power tools
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in learning new skills
Physical Requirements
- Must possess the ability to work in any condition like bending, twisting, squatting, crawling, and standing to execute normal job duties
- Requires repetitive movement
- Work from heights and in tights spaces
- Lift/Pull/Push up to 30 lbs on a frequent basic
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, which can subject workers to loud levels of noise, fumes, debris, tripping hazards and sharp metal edges. Personal protective equipment will be provided, but you are responsible for ensuring that the equipment is properly used and for being aware of your surroundings.
Pay Rate
$18 - $21/hr
