What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Scheduler position at ACI Building Systems LLC?
Primary responsibility is scheduling all new projects in Engineering. Maintain all engineering records. The incumbent will work under the direction of a professional engineer who will be in responsible charge of the final design documents.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
The incumbent will demonstrate a working knowledge of scheduling. Must also possess good communication and interpersonal relationship skills and must conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner. Must possess organizational skills and be proficient with software used.
The incumbent to this position interfaces with Engineering, Project Management, Master Scheduling, Detailing and drafting, Sales staff, Purchasing department and Customer service.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of all engineering documents.
- Responsible for Scheduling Engineering.
- Responsible for Engineering weekly and monthly reporting.
- Responsible for Maintaining Company COA’s for Engineering – new and renew.
- Responsible for Letter of Certifications for customers.
- Responsible for Design Calculations for customers.
- Responsible to maintain current knowledge of all ACI engineering functions - procedures.
- Responsible for purchasing and maintaining the Engineering Library.
- Responsible for other work duties not listed here to ensure that engineering is complete.
- Responsible for customer warranties.
