Physician Extender (NP/PA)
Location: China Lake, CA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Extender (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide exceptional healthcare services under the supervision of a licensed physician. In this role, you will diagnose and manage both common and complex medical conditions, ensuring high-quality care for a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough physical exams, collect comprehensive medical histories, and order necessary diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
- Educate patients on preventive care strategies and effectively manage chronic illnesses.
- Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in California.
- Board certification through an accredited body (e.g., AANP, NCCPA).
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills with a dedication to exceptional patient care.
