Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to respiratory therapy, PTSD care, dermatology, and occupational health.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as diagnostic radiology and pathology reports.
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
Collaborate with specialists in areas such as neonatology and psychopharmacology when necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay updated with the latest medical practices and advancements in primary care.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
Strong knowledge of care plans, diagnostic procedures, and treatment protocols.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and support.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience in managing diverse patient populations is an asset.
