Job Summary:
Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. Provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serves as the main interface and liaison between end users and development throughout the product creation or application implementation.
- Reviews, analyzes and evaluates customer needs. Defines and provides appropriate solutions.
- Defines system and functional requirements. Ensures requirements are appropriately defined and agreed upon.
- Defines specifications and data models for product development or application implementations and testing.
- Provides oversight to the development and execution of test cases.
- Develop and implement controls and best processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of equivalent experience.
- 12 years related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of analytical and business work experience, preferably in the payments industry
- Strong Excel skills.
- Working experience with SQL and databases; writing queries and pulling data.
- Experience with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NACHA, Card and banking regulations).
- Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Motivation, in-depth business understanding, aspiration for excellence, creative and out of the box thinking.
- Proactive attitude and time-management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Work Environment:
- Standard work environment
- Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
