Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our customers. You will work closely with our clients to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of company equipment
- Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with customers to ensure their needs are met and provide exceptional customer service
- Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Keep accurate records of service visits, including detailed notes and reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with distributed control systems (DCS), logic controllers, and robotics
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience with Fanuc robotics is highly desirable
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and CGMP regulations is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
