Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all safety programs across the company
- Oversee the Safety Manager(s), Safety Coordinators, and coordinate safety planning across departments
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive corporate safety program in compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal laws
- Collaborate with executive leadership and project teams to integrate safety planning into operations from preconstruction through project closeout
- Monitor company-wide safety KPIs, identify trends, and lead proactive solutions to reduce incidents and improve performance
- Represent Ackerman Plumbing during external audits, inspections, and regulatory engagements
- Lead and facilitate executive-level safety meetings, training, and strategic planning sessions
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning across the organization
- Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in safety and risk management
- 10 years of safety leadership experience in construction, plumbing, or mechanical contracting, with at least 3 years in a director or multi-site leadership role
- OSHA 500 or equivalent training credentials required
- CSP, CHST, or equivalent certifications preferred
- Proven success in building and leading a company-wide safety culture
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement
- Willingness to travel regularly to job sites across Florida
