- Estimating: Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for special commercial plumbing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of special plumbing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
- Coordination: Work closely with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely project execution and successful delivery
- Budget Management: Track and manage project budgets, adjusting forecasts and expenses as needed to ensure financial success
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with codes
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, cost overruns, or technical issues
- Communication: Provide clear, consistent updates to clients, internal stakeholders, and project teams, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Change Orders & Proposals: Manage change orders and prepare project proposals as necessary, ensuring scope changes are properly documented and accounted for
- Proven experience as an Estimator and/or Project Manager in the commercial plumbing industry, especially for special or custom projects
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, installation practices, and codes
- Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Solid understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Valid plumbing license and/or project management certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management platforms
- Ability to travel to various job sites as needed
