What we're looking for:
We are seeking two full-time Maintenance Technicians to join our team at The Metropolitan-Fishers, a 304-unit community located in Fishers, Indiana. As a Maintenance Technician at Ackermann Group, you will be responsible for:
- Trouble-shooting resident service issues including, HVAC, general appliance work, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Ensuring the completion of all market-ready apartments, emergency and non-emergency service requests, various maintenance activities, and community inspections
- Responding to maintenance work orders and following up with residents and office staff
- Working with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that both the interior and exterior of the property meet company standards
- 1 or more years of related experience that demonstrates a broad knowledge of general maintenance
- HVAC certification, EPA Type I & II certification and/or CPO certification is a plus!
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- A valid driver's license with proof of insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm emergency on-call rotation (schedule determined by Property Manager)
- A $1,500 sign-on bonus paid after your first 90 days of employment
