Job Title: ADA Compliance Specialist

Primary Responsibilities:
Review, test, and remediate digital and physical forms to ensure compliance with ADA, 508 Regulations, and WCAG guidelines.
Convert existing forms into accessible formats, including PDF, HTML, and Microsoft Office documents.
Conduct accessibility audits using tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, WAVE, Axe, JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure accessibility is integrated into the form design process.
Provide training and guidance on best practices for creating accessible forms.
Stay updated on accessibility laws, standards, and evolving best practices throughout the project.
Document accessibility processes and compliance efforts.
Essential Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of ADA, 508 Regulations, WCAG (2.1 and above), and other accessibility regulations.
Experience remediating PDFs, Word documents, and web-based forms for accessibility.
Proficiency in accessibility testing tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, WAVE, Axe, JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and ARIA for form accessibility improvements.
Ability to provide accessibility training and support to teams.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification, or other accessibility certifications.
Experience working in government compliance.
Knowledge of assistive technologies and their impact on user experience.
