Contract Duration : 03 Months Contract with extension
Max pay rate : $35 / hr
Hours : 15-25 per week, 1-2 days onsite a week. Candidate will work with manager on schedule.
Role Overview :
The Copy and Production Editor will report to the editor and will be responsible for :
- Copyediting the entire print magazine, including substantive content editing, fact-checking, and editing for correct grammar, diction, and stylistic consistency.
- Managing print production by forwarding final pages to the outside proofreader, collating corrections from editors’ reviews, and preparing final files for printing.
- Reviewing and proofing the online editorial content for style and content before it is posted.
- Supervising and assisting contributing editors in producing copy and layouts for class notes and obituaries, verifying degree statuses, and coordinating layouts.
