Emphasis is seeking an experienced ops leader who has tech company research / insights operations expertise. Bonus is Qualtrics CX platform / tech experience. Will also manage and oversee both US based FTE resources and offshore vendor team. Very exciting role at the pulse of customer experience insight generation within the core eBay Growth Team.
Reporting to director based in San Jose.
Overview
eBay is actively seeking an exceptional Senior Research Operations Manager with extensive experience in managing research operations at a global scale. The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge in implementing best-in-class governance practices, optimizing processes, and managing a global scale research and insights operation effectively. With proficiency in agile methodologies, this leader will be charged with delivering on a strategy and roadmap to transform the current operation into a world- class function, focusing on operational efficiencies, cost savings, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. A background in a global insights or research function is highly desired, as it will provide valuable context and experience to drive the organization forward.
The ideal candidate would have strong experience working with technology platforms to deliver research and insights operations such as Qualtrics, Medallia, Forsta or similar.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with technology platforms to deliver research and insights operations and CX operations, such as Qualtrics and oversee a dedicated operations team.
- Implement and refine governance practices to achieve global operational excellence within research operations.
- Optimize processes and manage large-scale research operations, ensuring alignment with eBay's strategic goals and efficient resource utilization.
- Manage and lead integration or migration efforts for core research platforms and tools
such as Qualtrics, Forsta, Caplena etc.
Qualifications

Right hand to Leigh to run the operation - research and insights
Leverage several platforms to register surveys to capture data to give to teams
Will run the ops team - onshore US based, Seattle / Dallas, and small offshore team Executing sprint planning, intake process from

Will manage indirectly 2 FTEs and the medium sized offshore team to ensure things
