Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Onsite Coordination:
Act as the central point of contact between the Cloud team and other teams - Vendors, Native App, PMO, and System Engineering.
Drive project timelines and milestones, ensuring alignment on goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
Facilitate transparent communication across onsite teams, raising and addressing critical questions to assess project risks and impacts.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring no roadblocks hinder progress.
2. Offshore Coordination:
Serve as the bridge between onsite operations and offshore development teams, fostering effective collaboration.
Communicate project requirements, priorities, and updates, ensuring offshore deliverables align with business needs.
Conduct regular check-ins, proactively addressing potential delays by asking probing questions and identifying root causes.
Ensure accountability and clarity on offshore tasks, avoiding delegation of unresolved issues.
3. Cloud Backend Development Oversight:
Mandatory: Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based backend systems (AWS and IoT-based development).
Collaborate closely with offshore developers to resolve complex cloud backend challenges, ensuring all cloud services operate seamlessly.
Conduct thorough impact analysis on system changes, performance issues, and scalability concerns.
4. IoT Implementation Support:
Oversee IoT deployments, ensuring devices are correctly configured, maintained, and securely connected to cloud platforms.
Collaborate with both onsite and offshore teams to resolve IoT-related technical challenges promptly.
5. Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all onsite and offshore solutions comply with industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and company policies.
Proactively question processes and solutions to identify potential gaps in compliance or performance.
6. Training & Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and troubleshooting guides, ensuring offshore teams have clear references.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Mandatory: 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud backend development (AWS).
5 years of experience in deploying and managing IoT solutions.
Prior experience coordinating between onsite and offshore teams in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Java), and data security.
Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP) and platforms.
Proven ability to conduct impact analyses, troubleshoot complex issues and drive solutions independently.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to ask tough, critical questions to uncover issues and drive accountability.
Strong organizational and project management skills, focusing on transparency and continuous improvement.
