Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
Looking for an experienced Project Manager for Indirect tax systems and products. This professional is expected to deliver on the following:
- Support our Indirect Tax team with topics that are very heavy on Product co- ordinations. Some of the key objectives for this role are:
- Support with UAT, on Tax metrics, for an upcoming Product launch.
- This includes: defining testing requirements and scenarios, assist with developing and executing test plans to ensure that tax product functionality meets the requirements, and identify and troubleshoot
issues during test phases working closely with the engineering teams to resolve them.
- Support with managing and resolving tax-product issues on one of our shipping initiatives, Billing systems as well as other tax collection systems
- Be comfortable with managing cross functional projects, prioritization in agile environments and have strong communication. Act as a bridge between indirect tax experts and technical teams, helping to translate complex tax regulations into actionable development tasks.
- Work with Analytics team to have a data driven approach on risk management or product prioritization, and helping business to take an informed decision
- Monitor and address product issues, working with the engineering team to resolve defects and concerns related to the indirect tax product. Prioritize based on business impact, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Provide feedback on existing processes and share recommendations on improvements. Thus, help us establish a better process with client’s Product team, as well as ensure smooth process for Indirect Tax initiatives and prioritization
Skills/Qualifications:
- 10-15 years’ experience in managing complex and cross functional projects in MNCs
- Knowledge and experience of Indirect Tax and Product systems is good to have but not necessary
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com) and Google Workspace
