Job Description : We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate

large-scale cloud migration efforts as part of a critical platform modernization initiative. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, technical expertise, and strong project management skills to ensure the seamless execution of migration and modernization projects. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing oversight, driving accountability, and delivering measurable results.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the migration of legacy systems to a modern, cloud-native architecture. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teams to implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions. Your role will also involve ensuring that timeline and deliverables align with organizational objectives while proactively managing risks and dependencies.

What You Will Accomplish :

Project Planning and Coordination : Drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale cloud migration projects. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Facilitate

cross-functional alignment, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements.

Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of goals, risks, and progress. Collaborate with Engineering and CPE Teams to implement cloud-native architectures, CI / CD pipelines, and

utomation tools.

Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and risk assessments.

Resource Management : Coordinate resources and manage project schedules to ensure efficient allocation and utilization of team members.

Risk Management : Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting any issues or deviations from the plan (RAID log generation and resolution, etc).

Technical Understanding : Maintain a strong understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure concepts to effectively coordinate technical projects.

What You Will Bring :

5-7 years of experience in technical project management, with a solid understanding of the functional interface between software development and infrastructure (

Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred).

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business insights.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure while maintaining a good sense of humor - be flexible and understanding.

Proven experience managing large-scale cloud migration and / or modernization projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.

Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), cloud-native architectures, and infrastructure automation tools.

Experience working with teams using modern DevOps practices, including CI / CD, containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), and a high-level understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget vi strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, PMI).

Will this candidate interface with IT and business teams? If so, which internal / external groups? Responsible for one major project- already in discovery phase- replat forming legacy platforming account into new legacy account

Work to start in Q2- would like to participate in the planning phases Responsible for day-to-day planning- center migration team which will work with various engineering team and data storage migration team
