Job Description:
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing system architecture and evaluation specifications, while leading DCM technical discussions and overseeing product planning, development, launch, and quality verification.
- You’ll bring strong issue triage experience in telematics, specification development expertise, and the ability to translate specs into test cases. With excellent communication skills, you’ll lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive product improvements and future enhancements.
- A successful candidate will have hands-on experience in designing systems architecture, creating specifications, triage & troubleshooting, test case development and validation, plus a strong understanding of telematics architecture and design. What you’ll be doing:
- Lead DCM technical discussions and serve as a subject matter expert in telematics engineering.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and test cases for DCM products.
- Perform issue triage and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (software, firmware, testing, and manufacturing) to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from vision, development, and launch to ongoing quality assurance.
- Maintain the product backlog, prioritize issues, and ensure project delivery aligns with stakeholder needs.
- Adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Lead or support test case development, validation, and issue tracking for DCM and infotainment systems.
- Drive process improvements by analyzing lessons learned and incorporating them into future product designs.
- Provide technical insights and recommendations for future product enhancements.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of hands-on experience DCM/ Infotainment systems, Telematics & MM (Multimedia) Development experience, including In-vehicle ECU & Backend Network Integration and development experience.
- Proficient experience in writing and developing comprehensive specifications, and issue triage.
- Hands on experience in translations, creation and validation of test cases.
- Strong knowledge of automotive DCM (Telematics) architecture & design, including hardware & software stacks.
- Excellent issue triage and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly assess problems and drive solutions.
- Excellent communication leading technical discussions, present findings to executives, and work cross-functionally with design, software, firmware, testing, and manufacturing teams.
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop test cases for telematics systems.
- Project or program management skills, with experience in telematics.
- Expert-level PowerPoint skills and strong presentation abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced teams and make quick decisions.

- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience in Infotainment Hardware, Embedded Software, and/or Off-board Software Development.
