In this position, you will:
- Help program participants achieve/exceed their personal goals;
- Provide structure and emotional support;
- Assist in resolving behavioral issues;
- Help people supported with personal hygiene;
- Complete detailed, accurate documentation
- Transport the people supported to and from volunteer and pre-vocational activities using Agency vehicles.
We require:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required.
- One year of experience working with developmentally disabled preferred.
- Clean and Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be willing to complete trainings in:
- SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention)
- CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation)
- AMAP (Approved Medication Administration Personnel)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a – 3:45p
Salary Range: 19.55 - 20.97
Some programs/locations may have a differential in addition to the hourly rate.
