We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in an OMH outpatient clinic setting.
In this position, you will:
- Conduct assessments and all aspects of psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples or groups according to caseload assigned.
- Work with patients to develop and achieve treatment goals and change goals as needed.
- Attend supervisory sessions as scheduled and demonstrate motivation for learning and willingness to take direction.
- Attend weekly social work meetings, participating actively in the process and assuming responsibility for rotating presentations.
- Initiate and maintain contact with other agency departments regarding your patients - as necessary and appropriate in the service of quality treatment.
We require:
- Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
- NYS licensed Mental Health Counselor.
