Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate recreational activities and outings that promote socialization and fun;
- Assist clients in exploring their passions and interests through creative expression and experimentation;
- Help clients set and achieve personal goals, focusing on self-advocacy and empowerment;
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive environment;
- Document client progress and experiences.
Qualifications:
- Clean, valid NYS Drivers license;
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field;
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for lifelong learning;
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
