Delaware Sign Company in need of Machine Operators 1st and 3rd shifts available!
Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fabricate products
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
- Ensure machines are running smoothly and adjust as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Must be able to lift overhead on a regular basis 30 lbs. Sizing of materials are awkward. Ex: 125”L x 60 W flat panels – lifting over your head.
Schedule:
- 1st shift (Monday - Friday) 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, overtime would be Saturday 6:00 am - 12:00 pm
- 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday) 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, overtime would be working Friday 4:00 pm -2:30 am
- 3rd shift (Monday - Friday) 7:30 pm - 6:00 am, If overtime is scheduled hours would be Sunday night (9:30 pm - 6:00 am)
Must be able to work overtime, this is mandatory.
Attendance is critical - if any time is missed within the first two weeks, the assignment will be ended.
Pay rates:
- 1st shift - $18.50 hourly
- 2nd & 3rd shift - $19.50 hourly
