GENERAL SUMMARY
The Administrative Support position is responsible for performing all general secretarial, clerical, and receptionist functions for the rehabilitation department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High School graduate with general knowledge of medical terminology, good verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills. Ability to type 45 words per minute accurately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Primarily Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to learn various computer programs.
Required Length and Type of Experience
One (1) year experience in office or patient care setting preferred. Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record, Cadence scheduling, Insurance Authorization, and customer care is preferred.
Required Licensure or Certification
None.
Required Physical and Environmental Demands
Manual dexterity for computer keyboard. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to use a telephone without TTY. Articulate speech. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing at normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
