What You'll Do:
• Own the challenge: Take full responsibility for customer technical requirements and transform them into robust, efficient solutions.
• Design with purpose: Develop advanced Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for Power Supplies, Battery Chargers, and Battery Management Systems that meet real-world needs.
• Bring ideas to life: Create, simulate, and test complex mixed-signal circuits using tools like SPICE and MATLAB.
• Push the limits: Drive designs through rigorous qualification testing to meet industry standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.
• Lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) to ensure the design meets technical, cost, and schedule objectives while aligning with stakeholder expectations.
• Lead innovation: Resolve challenges in existing products while delivering reliable, next-generation solutions.
• Get hands-on: Use cutting-edge lab tools (oscilloscopes, DAQ, DMMs) to troubleshoot, validate, and perfect your designs.
• Own the process: Develop detailed test plans, reports, and acceptance procedures to ensure your designs excel in performance and reliability.
• Collaborate and innovate: Work alongside cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production.
What You'll Bring:
• 7 years of hands-on experience in circuit design with a focus on power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC converters, battery chargers).
• Expertise in analog and digital design, with strong preferred skills in PWM control, Power MOSFETs, and IGBT technologies.
• A proven ability to own designs – from initial schematics to final product testing.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC principles and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, DMMs) to troubleshoot and validate designs.
• Experience designing to meet industry standards like DO-160 and MIL-STD-704.
• Strong understanding of simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE) to validate and optimize designs.
