Job description
Acme Glass is hiring for apprentice glaziers or carpenters to join our residential team.
The primary function of this role is learning to installing residential glazing to include: insulated units, glass shower enclosures, screens, storm windows, storm doors, putty reglazing, windows & doors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a career in a growing industry.
A successful candidate is punctual, reliable, professional in their appearance and communication, and able to work with multiple people.
Qualified candidates will have a basic understanding of hand and power tools, a drivers license, and preferably one year in the trades.
Physical requirements include having the ability to regularly sit, stand, twist, bend, squat, and lift with up to 75 lbs of materials. You will also be required to and climb ladders or staging.
