Job Title : Lead Pool Service Technician
Job Summary :
The Lead Pool Service Technician is responsible for providing high-quality field service, including pool opening, closing, maintenance, and repair, for the Acme Pure Blu customer base. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also support and guide other technicians and ensure company standards for service excellence are met.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform scheduled field service work, including pool openings, closings, maintenance, and repairs.
Review and manage service schedules and job assignments, ensuring technicians are appropriately matched to tasks.
Provide on-the-job support and guidance to technicians over the phone as necessary.
Assist in providing information for customer quotes and estimates.
Ensure service vehicle is stocked and maintained.
Support inventory management and ensure that necessary supplies are available.
Continuously develop skills and knowledge, acquiring any necessary training or certifications related to pool service and repair.
Maintain company equipment and vehicles as needed.
Ensure personal tools are available and maintained for completing required tasks.
Be adaptable and willing to take on tasks outside of the formal job description as required in a small company setting.
Job Type :
Full-time, Seasonal with potential for year-round opportunities based on performance and capabilities.
Required Skills and Abilities :
Technical expertise : Ability to troubleshoot and repair common pool-related mechanical issues, including PVC plumbing leaks, electrical problems, gas heater diagnostics / repair, and water chemistry issues.
Physical stamina : Capable of performing manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting 50-100 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
Customer service : Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Driver’s License : A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Experience : While prior experience as a service technician is preferred, we are willing to train candidates and provide necessary learning materials for pool-specific service and repairs.
