IN THE ROLE OF TERRITORY SALES
In Territory Sales, your day is a dynamic blend of sales and customer support. You provide valuable assistance for industrial, construction, and residential construction equipment, offering expert advice and support to both new and existing customers. You actively prospect for new accounts and nurture current customer relationships by taking a consultative approach, ensuring our offerings align with their needs. You are dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience by leveraging your knowledge of Acme Tools’ product range, service capabilities, and ongoing programs. This includes identifying opportunities and making tailored product or service recommendations. You schedule appointments to meet with customers at their work sites or businesses, where you showcase products through informative demonstrations. Your commitment extends beyond the sale – you guide customers through starting procedures and breaking-in periods, and you follow up to ensure their satisfaction while resolving any potential issues. Territory Sales Representatives also actively participate in our store events, operate and maintain a company vehicle and any provided technology resources, and prioritize safety standards while completing assigned tasks efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of direct customer service experience, preferably in territory sales
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment, and strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- The ability to work in-store on Saturdays as business dictates
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
