Automotive Assistant Controller

• Enhance operational efficiency by leading a team including office managers, and accounting personnel.
• Ensure that the accounting staff are using proper accounting procedures, and maintain accurate records.
• Produce and review all banking, manufacturer, parts inventory, and vehicle inventory reconciliations.
• Review all expense accounts to ensure proper spending, and allocation.
• Complete quarterly and year end requests for audit companies to facilitate successful audit results.
• Prepare sales tax on a monthly basis to comply with tax regulations.
• Review and submit accurate financial statements to the manufacturer by stated guidelines.
