Commercial Loan Assistant

OVERVIEW:
A Commercial Loan Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties to support the work of Commercial Loan Officers in order to meet the financial service needs of the Bank’s commercial customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing documents for commercial loans, such as commitment letters and other correspondence to current and prospective customers.
• Assembling loan packages prior to and post settlement.
• Contacting various settlement agents, attorneys, and insurance companies to facilitate the settlement process.
• Responding to inquiries or requests for information from other Bank personnel and commercial loan customers within given time frame and established policy.
• Maintaining appropriate records, providing assigned reports, and communicating with appropriate personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:

• A high school diploma or equivalent;
• PC skills, including a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• A valid driver’s license.

Preferred:

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related position;
• A thorough knowledge of commercial loan policies and procedures.
