Our Mortgage Producing Sales Managers lead and manage a high-performing team of mortgage originators. Their primary responsibilities will be to ensure exceptional service delivery, build and nurture external relationships, recruit top mortgage professionals, and contribute to the company’s overall growth by meeting personal and team production targets.
What are the key responsibilities?
- The recruitment, scheduling, training, development and ongoing appraisal of team members;
- Jointly establishes quantitative sales objectives, with assigned supervisor, on an annual basis;
- Solicits new business from both present and prospective customers; maintains ongoing contacts with realtors, builders, and present customers in order to enhance cross-selling activities;
- Serves as a member of the Bank’s sales "team" and works with other members of the sales/service team in striving to increase sales opportunities;
- Takes residential mortgage loan applications, completes files, necessary disclosures and the required origination processes; and,
- Takes ownership and responsibility for the team’s overall performance.
What are the Required Qualifications?
Required:
- A high school diploma or GED;
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in related lending positions and five years’ leadership experience;
- A working knowledge of banking operating policies and procedures which impact residential mortgage loan services.
- Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
- Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills;
- A thorough knowledge of current lending regulations;
- Demonstrated management and supervisory skills; and
- Moderate computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook; visual and auditory skills; and,
Preferred:
- A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study preferred; specialized bank residential mortgage lending education and training.
