REGIONAL SALES MANAGER POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing all sales activities for ACO Building Drainage products, within the designated territory. Provide leadership and direction to the Sales Rep Agencies, ACO Area Sales Managers within the territory and to the Inside Sales Staff either directly or through subordinate Supervisors.
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, develop and implement overall sales strategy for the Region in conjunction with other staff members as applicable
- Select, Interview, Contract, Train, and Develop Sales Representative Agencies which will promote our products on the market
- Direct and monitor Regional Territory performance to assure that the territory meets or exceeds the Sales budget; maintains territory profit objectives, operates within budgeted costs, and complies with corporate sales policies and procedures
- Assist with customer problem resolution on an as needed basis
- Participate in Budget and Year plan for region
- Participate in tradeshows
- Travel as necessary
- Comply with Company policies and procedures
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, blueprints, or technical procedures.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to use Windows Office Programs
- Must have the ability to take photographs for use in marketing materials.
- Must have a minimum of "intermediate", MS Office skills.
