The Acoaxet Club is seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and being flexible with shift work. The Server is responsible for taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction by attending to their needs throughout the dining experience, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key responsibilities include:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, dietary restrictions, and special promotions to provide informed recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at assigned tables, including setting up place settings, refilling drinks, and removing dirty dishes.
- Accurately calculate bills, handle member chits, cash and credit card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members, including kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to provide a smooth dining experience.
- Oversee and assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, etc.
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
- Maintain a clean and organized server station.
- Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures
Candidate Qualifications
- Previous work experience as a Server
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability work under pressure
