Position Overview
The basic functions of our Apprenticewill be to assist in the installation, testing, and repair of advanced security and camera systems under general supervision. Our ideal candidate will be customer focused and able to work diligently whether part of a team or individually.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, testing, and repairing of security and fire alarm systems.
- Assist with running and installing wiring and circuits
- Assist inspecting and testing systems and batteries
- Adjusting and repairing systems and hardware when necessary.
- Explains and demonstrates system function and operation to end users.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Continued product training, continuing education and development.
- Responsible for adherence to Acom safety and standards.
- Some traveling required.
Requirements:
- Low voltage or electrical experience a plus.
- Basic computer and phone skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug screen and a background check
