Accounts Payable Clerk/Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a solid understanding of financial concepts and experience with various accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accounts payable records and documentation in an organized manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide support for accounts receivable functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with financial concepts and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
