Acorn Financial Services is an independent financial planning firm with headquarters in Reston, Virginia. We cater to high net worth individuals and offer comprehensive financial planning solutions in the areas of wealth management, business planning, tax preparation and estate planning. We are looking for a Client Service Associate to provide operational and administrative support to our financial planners. Ideal candidate is organized, team-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects with deadlines.
Description Overview

Paperwork processing for new accounts, transfer of assets, contributions, redemptions, and account servicing tasks such as beneficiary and registration changes. Tracking confirmation of tasks through completion is required. - Fielding client inquiries and resolving service transactions using thorough research. Determination of which issues require immediate elevation to an advisor or senior member of the team is required.
- Utilize professional written and verbal communication skills to aid clients in establishing online access for statements, proxy materials and other services.
- Prepare advisors for meetings with appropriate forms, reports, data and research. Scan and save all client input data.
- Monitor and coordinate licensing and continuing education requirements for team members.
- Input data from client notes and communications into CRM system.
- Prepares letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting for new clients.
- Candidate will serve as back-up to front-desk receptionist on occasion.
Requirements
- Must pass background check with no criminal record
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Due to the sensitive nature of information handled, client must possess a high degree of confidentiality and strong attention to detail
- Competency with Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
