Garage Door Technician

Acorn Overhead Door Company is an established residential and commercial overhead door company based in East Bridgewater. We provide installation and repair throughout Southeastern Mass and the upper Cape. We have an immediate opening for a reliable and skilled overhead door installer.

Requirements:

· MINIMUM 3 YEARS residential overhead door experience

· Be punctual and dependable

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Ability to think constructively and trouble-shoot on the fly

· Able to work year-round in heat and cold, independently or as part of a team

· Able to lift 75 – 100 pounds, safely use power tools, and climb ladders

· Possess a valid MA driver’s license and have a clean driving record

· Must own a reliable vehicle to get you to and from our shop in East Bridgewater

· Must provide your own hand tools, impact driver, and drills

Responsibilities:

· Assemble and install residential and commercial overhead doors and motors, including low-voltage wiring

· Repair and maintain existing doors and motors

· Safely drive and maintain company vehicle according to company rules

· Operate circular saw, reciprocating saw, angle grinder, and hand tools.

· Provide clear written communication using company-supplied software

· Represent Acorn Overhead Door in a professional manner at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
