DESCRIPTION
The Business Manager Assistant Specialists will be responsible for customer creation, client financial tools, trade and reconciliation, order and claims alerts, master data submissions and support. All necessary functions required to support the Business Manager and client in sales supporting assignments. This individual must demonstrate a strong desire and willingness to collaborate across multiple functional teams to strengthen and modernize our services and capabilities. This individual must demonstrate strong and effective time management, communication, and problem- solving skills. Collaborating with the BMA Supervisor on daily support and training of the BMA team. Special projects as assigned by the BMA Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Forms – Contract generation management via customer portals, Acosta Sprint / Acosta Relay and Excel.
Supporting the BMA Supervisor and BMA Team with training and special projects.
Client Financial Tools – Creating customer events and maintenance from Acosta Sprint Data.
Deduction Reconciliation – Responding to deduction alerts timely within Acosta Relay Order Alerts – Verifying accurate pricing and promotions on customer orders.
Data Support and Management – Submissions of price changes, item setup requests and customer facing information in customer portals.
Additional support to the Business Manager and BMA Supervisor in the promotional planning and execution process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
Strong communication skills internally and externally
Motivated self-starter and problem solver
Efficient and effective use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Office
Must be able to represent the company in a professional manner
Detail oriented
Adhere to assigned deadlines
Mentor and train BMA team members
High knowledge level of the UNFI Central and West Divisions. Including customer contracting process and procedures including all of the Indirect for the Central and West Divisions. In addition, proficient in claims management for all of the Divisions and Indirect.
