Your Role at Acousti
As a Drywall Finisher , you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of drywall installations for our commercial and residential projects. Working closely with a dynamic team, you will help maintain Acousti's high standards and reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will :
- Read and interpret project blueprints to plan and execute tasks effectively
- Measure, cut, and install materials, including metal molding, ensuring precision and durability
- Prepare wall surfaces for finishing by spreading, smoothing, and sanding sealing compounds over joints, cracks, and holes
- Embed tape into sealing compounds using trowels, spatulas, or mechanical applicators, blending joints seamlessly with wall surfaces
- Apply primers, texturizing compounds, or additional coats to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces while ensuring adhesives are durable
- Operate scaffolds, aerial lifts, ladders, stilts, powder-actuated tools, and lasers while maintaining safety compliance
- Work independently or collaboratively to meet construction schedules and industry standards indoors and outdoors
- Perform other duties as assigned, maintaining flexibility to adapt to project needs
