The Install Coordinator’s primary role is to support the day-to-day activities of Acoustical Solutions employed Project Managers and installers. Labor is the most expensive piece of an installation project. Effective communication and fundamental project preparation are essential to completing an efficient and profitable project. Materials must be ordered in a timely manner, and the tool and equipment bay must be organized and process driven to drive successful installations. Self-sufficiency and a strong sense of job ownership are essential to the Install Coordinator’s success.

What you'll do:
- Orders materials from 3rd party vendors required for installations managed by the Commercial Estimating and Sales Engineering departments.
- Keeps track of materials ordered from 3rd party vendors to ensure that they will be delivered in a timely manner prior to scheduled installation start date.
- Works with warehouse to ensure that all project materials are kitted properly prior to pick up.
- Manages organization and inventory of tool and equipment bay.
- Manages stocking levels of standard installation materials and other necessities (PPE, etc.).
- Performs pre-installation site visits to confirm field measurements when required.
- Performs pre-installation site visits to ensure that jobs are ready prior to installation mobilization.
- Completes and Submits AHA and other misc. forms for jobsite access when required.
- Manages maintenance of installation fleet vehicles.
- Assists with installer scheduling.
- Assists with managing installer time and attendance.
- Assists with installer per diem allocation.
- Assists Installation Team Leads with cost/receipt reporting.
- Addresses policy and procedure issues with installation team members. Reports all issues to management.
- Supports interview and training of all new installation hires as required.
- Performs job site safety audits.
- Assists HR with maintaining installer training and certifications database
- Conducts customer closeout walk-through at end of installation on high value projects and reports findings.
- Supports 5S processes and Acoustical Solutions Core Values, Kaizen, and process improvement activities.
- Adheres to Acoustical Solutions Employee Handbook and Health and Safety manual.
- Other duties as assigned.
Professional Requirements:
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; minimum OSHA 10 required.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years supervisory experience
- 3 years construction experience, preferably with an interior finishes trade
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and MEWP equipment safely
- Ability to read and communicate blueprints and installation drawings. Speaks and understands the English language verbally and in written form
- Creative problem-solving skills, open to new ideas or change
- Detail oriented, is organized, and has prioritizations skills to see the big picture
- Excellent communication and training skills for interaction with customers and contracting team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
