Cogir Senior Living is hiring a talented, energetic, and empathetic Nurse (RN/LPN) to lead the clinical department at our premier senior living community, Acoya Cherry Creek.
The Health and Wellness Director (LPN/LVN or RN) is an integral member of the management team and works closely with the Executive Director to ensure the health and wellness of our residents, performing initial and ongoing assessments and observation of our residents' physical and psycho-social needs, while coordinating with other departments to assure the highest quality of care. They interact directly with employees, residents, resident family members, vendors, and professional contacts within the community. They provide training, supervision, and coaching of the clinical team while helping build a positive and energetic atmosphere within the community. Responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of the community while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, as well as company policies.

What will you do as a Health andWellness Director?
- Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
- Act as the contact for all issues related to resident care
- Understand the community's care regulations along with state-specific regulations
- Provide activities of daily assistance to the residents as needed
- Provide training and orientation to all Care Partners and Medication Care Partners
- Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses in accordance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements
- Review all hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of employees with attention paid to consistency in the selection and retention of quality personnel
- Supervise, develop, and schedule the care staff according to the company's policies, procedures, and standards.
- Establish and maintain a medication program.
- Perform assessments and reassessments according to policies.
- Ensure resident records and charting are current and up to date.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
- Positive team player attitude and love working with people!
- RN with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience or an LPN with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living and a CO Administrator License
- Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel and Word.
- A high degree of accuracy in all assignments; ability to manage time effectively, work with numerous interruptions, strength in showing initiative, and good judgment.
- Employ professional ethics, with a pleasant manner, good communication skills, and the ability to motivate.
- Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and be on-call 24/7.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), and Memory Care (MC) experience is a plus!
