Asbestos Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Asbestos & Demolition Laborer to join our team. The

successful candidate will be responsible for performing various demolition tasks,

including dismantling structures, removing debris, and preparing job sites for future

construction. This role requires physical strength, attention to safety, and the ability to

work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform demolition tasks such as tearing down walls, removing flooring, and dismantling structures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
• Clear and dispose of debris in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and secure job sites, including setting up protective barriers and ensuring proper site containment.
• Load and transport materials to designated disposal or recycling facilities.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Document work performed and report any issues or hazards to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist team members with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Asbestos laborer or supervisor license hard card.
• Previous experience in demolition, construction, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with demolition tools and equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to dust, debris, and varying weather conditions.
• Job sites may include residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Shift work, overtime, and weekend hours may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
