About the Role
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality ABA care to children by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. At Strides ABA, we are committed to delivering exceptional in-home services across the state of New Jersey. Our ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in ABA, behavioral health, and special education and will be passionate about making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Behavioral Assessments: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Intervention Planning: Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each child's unique circumstances.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and support.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Professional Development: Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and related areas.
Qualifications
- License/Certification: BCBA certification required.
- Experience: Experience working with children in an ABA clinical or in-home setting preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques and patient assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and team members.
- Ability to maintain detailed medical documentation while adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering positive behavioral outcomes for clients.
