We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Quality to lead our hospital’s quality management and performance improvement efforts. This critical leadership position ensures compliance with regulatory standards, drives quality initiatives, and fosters a culture of excellence across the organization. The Director will oversee accreditation processes, manage infection prevention programs, and lead teams toward achieving national quality benchmarks.

Qualifications
- Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 7 years in healthcare, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Advanced degrees (e.g., MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA) are strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in a for-profit hospital setting is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and quality programs in an acute care environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Lead the Quality/Performance Improvement and Risk Management departments to meet organizational goals.
- Accreditation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) and manage quality reporting requirements.
- Program Management: Oversee disease-specific certifications and patient safety programs to ensure top-tier care.
- Infection Prevention: Direct infection prevention initiatives and staff to promote safety and minimize risks.
- Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement quality strategies using data-driven approaches to improve outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor quality management and infection prevention teams.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with medical staff, leadership, and departments to address quality and compliance challenges.
- Budget & Productivity: Manage departmental budgets and productivity metrics to optimize resources.
