Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Sonographer for a night-shift position in Burlington, VT. This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently under physician supervision, collaborating with a skilled team, and mentoring fellow staff members. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified ultrasound technician looking to advance in the field of medical imaging and diagnostic sonography.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasounds and other required modalities.
- Conduct examinations independently under physician supervision and collaborate with peers when appropriate.
- Mentor and educate all levels of staff.
- Maintain applicable credentials specific to the role within the department.
- Senior Sonographer roles fulfill additional experience and time requirements.
Requirements:
- ARDMS OB/GYN Certification (Required)
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or Allied Health
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
Preferred:
- Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is a plus
- Strong team-player attitude with excellent communication skills
- Effective communication skills.
