Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms as ordered, utilizing proper ultrasound techniques to ensure accurate imaging.
- Collaborate with the overseeing clinical provider and Porter Cardiology Practice Manager to maintain high imaging standards.
- Maintain echocardiography services to industry and healthcare compliance standards.
- Ensure the daily technical operation of the echocardiography laboratory.
- Position and instruct patients for procedures to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Copy studies to discs as needed for review and interpretation.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and manage necessary supplies.
- Participate in ongoing professional educational programs and training.
Requirements:
- Certification Required: RDCS (ARDMS), RCS (CCI), or CRCS (CARDUP) within one year of hire.
- Experience in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong Communication & Organizational Skills: Effective coordination with medical teams and patient interaction.
