We have an opening for a Front Desk Receptionist to cover a morning shift at our Bradley Street location. Hours are between 7 am and 11 am. Duties
- Accurately enters members into the computer system when members are either entering or leaving the building.
- Ensures that all members are being picked up by an authorized individual.
- Acknowledges and greets everyone who enters and leaves the club's facilities.
- Provides detailed descriptions of Boys & Girls Club, member applications, services, facility features, and hours of operations.
- Answers the phone promptly and redirects phone requests to the appropriate party.
- Assists staff in collecting parent signatures for permission slips.
- Handles guests? questions and concerns professionally and courteously; communicates parents' finance questions/requests to the Finance Department.
- Maintains a clean; safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision and remain at the assigned post for extended periods of time.
- Understands all safety procedures completely and ensures that they are followed appropriately.
- Maintains a positive attitude and contributes toward a quality work environment.
- Assists in all areas of the club operation as requested.
- Communicates to the Site/Branch Director any and all occurrences involving staff or visitors/parents in the club that require attention.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and trainings when requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must be detailed-oriented and have the ability to multitask.
- Must have a pleasant telephone manner.
- Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must enjoy working with people, have enthusiasm, and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
- Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills.
- Must be willing to travel between locations when requested. (Only occasional travel may be required.)
- Must be a team player.
- Requires working under normal office working conditions with the exception of children?s voices/noises during program times.
- Occasionally may be exposed to fluctuations in temperature.
- Requires sedentary work including prolonged sitting and operation of general office equipment.
- May be required to lift or push up to 50lbs.

Note: The State of NH Childcare Licensing Bureau may prohibit you from being employed by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire should there be a disqualifying finding on your criminal record. In addition, even if the State of NH reviews your records and allows you to work at the Club, we still reserve the right to determine your employment status.
